Miele [00:35]# While we see an imposing mansion and its rich inhabitants – the husband arrives from work in his private plane and has his staff awaiting him, his wife drives around in an expensive sports car – the VO tells us that this is really a very ordinary little family whose only passion is their electrical appliances. Those, we are told, were bought on the advice of some German friends – again, very simple, decent people (we see them on horseback in front of their castle). And the appliances are, of course, not just any German brand but Miele, for according their friend Helmut, “One mustn’t confuse Wagner with Frieda Oompahpah!”
