Miller Lite “Chant” (00:30) #
The new spot for Miller Lite, “Chant,”
addresses the issue of individual vs. peer
pressure. A five-strong group of lads are
to be seen egging each other on to
engage in a variety of different activities –
weightlifting, tattooing, tasting especially
hot sauces, and other dumb exercises, all
of which are accompanied by their choirlike chanting. Finally, the little group ends
up in a bar where – following the communal chanting of the word “beer” – the
attractive barmaid serves up each of them
with the same brew. Yet the blonde is
dumbfounded when another man orders
a Miller Lite, adding the words “Some
choices you better opt making for yourself.” Claim: “Miller Lite. Good call.”
