Motorola Grand Classics

The Fish Can Sing, London

More Info

Motorola Grand Classics “From Zoetrope
to Motorola” (01:25) #
A stroll through the history of film – from
flipbook to movies bristling with special
computerized special effects such as
“Gladiator.” The leading role is played by
a rabbit which hops up to the moving
image before subsequently stepping up
to appear in “talkies.” Soon, what was
previously just a sketched figure turns
into a three-dimensional rabbit in full
colour set against ever more lavish backdrops. And, throughout the spot, we are
treated to clips from classic movies, with
Citizen Kane being presented as a rabbit,
or Busby Berkeley’s revue dancers – rabbits to a girl. The spot is advertising the
“Grand Classics” film events sponsored
by Motorola.
