MTV “Are you sure you’re gay?” + “Catch a shark” (00:30 each)# A deluge of reality TV is rapidly engulfing the entire globe. MTV here seem to take the opposite tack by poking fun at all those terribly zany shows. In the first spot, a male homosexual has to live with 12 women on an isolated island where they test whether he really is gay or not. “Catch a Shark,” for its part, takes the piss out of cult shows like “Jackass” and others when a young man tries to capture a shark with his bare hands. One wouldn’t be that surprised if these formats really were to pop up on TV some time soon.
