The “Addicted” spot for the new Nike+
System takes us inside the mind and
thoughts of a runner. Via a point-of-view
shot, we see atmospheric scenes of twilight, moonlight, woodland, beach, and
New York City through the eyes of the athlete. The voice of Edward Norton articulates the runner’s stream of consciousness, speaking of steps before dawn, and
of places he has never seen before. He is
guided by a computer voice that can be
heard softly in the background. Pay-off:
“Run like you’ve never run before.”
