Nissan 4×4 “Animals” (01:00) #
The idea for this Nissan commercial, in
which a car morphs into an animal – or, in
this particular case, a whole series of animals – is nothing new in the world of
advertising. Yet the remarkable implementation of this idea will prove to be a
hard act to follow for future efforts in this
field. Believing the Nissan 4×4 it to have
been halted by a falling rock, we subsequently see the vehicle overcome the obstacle by mutating into a big cat that runs
across the hilly snow-covered terrain.
After reverting back to a car once again,
it then shapeshifts into a spider when
traversing a dusty plain, into a crocodile
when crossing a lake and, finally, it
snakes its way along the road as, well, a
snake. Tagline: “Naturally capable.”
