Produced in endearingly low-tech fashion,
this commercial for mobile handset
producer Nokia presents a series of successive
copulations between all kinds of
things – from a toy monkey shagging a
skateboard through to Ray-Ban glasses
making out with a Coke bottle, and a
lava lamp getting up close and personal
with a pair of jeans. In the end, a young
man drops from a shopping bag that has
just had a close encounter with a mobile
phone. All this to a song along the lines
of “You are what you like” – the pay-off
on which the commercial ends.
