NSPCC “Cartoon” [01:00]# A man comes home to his son, who, thank goodness, is only an animated figure. The father is a child abuser. He smacks his son on the head, burns him with a cigarette, sends him sailing against a wall, and finally chases him until the boy falls down the stairs. Since he is a cartoon, the boy bounces back after every blow. But in the end, he becomes a real boy, and lies still at the bottom of the stairs. “Real children don’t bounce back.”
