Obra do Berço “Toys” (00:30) #
The sight of kids begging on the
streets is, unfortunately, not a rare occurrence
in the world of advertising. Yet
the children in this spot are not asking
for clothes, money or food, because
what kids really need to be concerned
about are children’s problems, says this
commercial for the Brazilian children’s
welfare organization. No matter what
their background and social standing, it
is quite obvious what children’s most
pressing needs are: toys by the truckload,
starting with the latest Harry Potter
book and continuing on through to Play
Station 2, the Game Boy Advance, or
Sponge Bob. Pay-off: We use the money
we raise to provide children with the
essentials, enabling them to satisfy a
child’s most elementary wishes by themselves.
