The face smiling out at the viewer in this
commercial for Olay anti-wrinkle cream is
by no means perfect and wrinkle-free.
Rather, we see a desperate-looking little
figure drawn from a simple line, fleeing in
panic from the end of this line. The figure
begins to run, jump, and swim, finally failing
to escape the end of the line – and
vanishing into thin air. Playing on the double
meaning of the word, the slogan reads
“The end of lines.”
