Pepe Jeans “Fame” [00:30], “Earring” [00:20], “Tangier” [00:30], “Phone Call” [00:30]#
A selection of four spots from a series of black and white commercials starring teenage heartthrob Jason Priestly from the popular TV series “Beverly Hills 90210.” In the first commercial in the series Jason and several grade school students talk about the rewards and perils of fame. In “Earring.” Jason and the kids debate whether an earring in a man’s right ear automatically means that he’s gay and, if yes, so what? “Tangier” and “Phone Call” introduce another soap opera star, Kent Master-King form “Knots Landing,” and the two act up a series of steamy scenes set in Tangier and filled with literary references to Cocteau, Hemingway and Allen Ginsberg.
