Pepsi “Mohawks” (00:30)# A commercial in an almost classical mode, with the product taking centre stage. It’s the new Pepsi 2 litre bottle with its usefully designed handle. The images speak for themselves, rendering text superfluous. Which is probably a welcome relief for the protagonists, because they work as scaffolders at great heights. They throw and catch the refreshing drink with impressive ease, never losing a beat. With this much artistry on display, it comes as no surprise to hear that this commercial took home a Bronze Lion in Cannes.
