What if your pet could shop for the stuff he wants online himself?
Well he kind of can now, thanks to Oglivy Brazil with development
from D2G Technologia and Hogarth. This is pet marketing at its best.
When you go to Petz e-commerce website and click into the designated
Pet-Commerce section, your pet’s reactions to selected products can
be read. If he reacts positively to an item, it will automatically be added
to your shopping cart. Of course, clicking “buy” and providing payment
will be the human’s job, but hey, let’s not quibble.
Paco Conde: “Pet Commerce is an e-commerce tool that allows dogs
to make their own shopping choices. It uses facial recognition and AI
that reads dogs behavioural reactions. I don’t have a dog, but if I had
it, I’d use it for sure.”
