4 spots [00:30]# “The first time men have ever been crzy about their wives’ car,
is the theme of the ad campaigns for the Peugeot 106. In this series of commercials, directed by successful Belgian filmmaker Remi blvaux, this theme is developed further. One set of ads takes place in a youngish couple’s bedroom where the husband tries, in a variety of ways and going as far as a performing a strip number, to coax his wife into lending him her Peugeot. All efforts are in vain, however, since every time the woman just wordlessly walks out of the frame and is then seen again as she gets into the parked car outside in front of the garage. Again, his attempts to get his hands on the wheel of his wife’s Peugeot misfire.
