Pot Noodles “Desperate Dan” 40 + “Auntie” : [00:10]
A funny new campaign positioning Pot Noodles as a “filthy” kind of food. the “slag of all noodles,” as the strapline proclaims. In the first spot, a young man, tired of the “clean” cucumber sandwiches his girlfriend keeps serving him, prowls all kind of seedy places in the red-light district in search of an orgiastic Pot Noodle experience. In the second commercial, a small boy, after having been told by his mother that Pot Noodles are only “for dirty people,” lets on that his father secretly indulges in Pot Noodles – together with “Auntie Jane,” it turns out, making things even more shameful, apparently.
