Prodigy “Fly Fishing”, “Music” + “Pets” [01:00]# “Lost in the Internet,” seems to be the motto of this campaign for Prodigy, a service that connects internet users with certain interest groups. In the first spot a hapless angler wanders through the desert, through Wall Street, through an opera, until he gets picked up by a bus with a destination sing that reads “Fly fishing.” There our protagonist finally finds himself in the company of other fishing nuts. The second spot features a young woman with a banjo on some desert road. She appears to be quite upset. Again, a bus pulls up, this time the sign reads “Music” and the driver is neon other than Barry White – “the horniest guy alive” according to Beavis & Butt-head – who tells the woman to hop aboard. There she meets lots of to other music fans with tastes ranging from blues and heavy metal to disco. The third spot presents a similar scenario except that the bus carries what looks like all the pet lovers in the world – some along with their animal friends. Pay-off: “Prodigy. Whatever you’re into.
