Selfless Shelves #
In a homespun case of ingenuity, FP7 McCann/Dubai’s Selfless Shelves mini docs show Lebanese women repurposing their empty jars to sell homemade products. After the financial crisis in Lebanon devastated employment for women in rural areas, this initiative led to several of them entrepreneurially selling jars in local Carrefour supermarket stores.
