Puma “Under 18´s” [00:45]# By means of parallel montage this commercial depicts the everyday life of two youths: a Brazilian and an Englishman. While the Brazilian segments are shot in warm colors and the soundtrack reverberates with the sounds of an enthusiastic soccer crown and the commentary of a sports newscaster, the English segments appear strangely muted and dull. We watch the two boys as they buy shoes: the Brazilian a pair of Puma soccer shoes, the English boy a pair of run of the mill street shoes. At the end there is a super: World Cup Wins: England 1x, Brazil 3x. Cut to Puma King show and super: Puma King. Street wear in Brazil.
