Judging from the amount of misogyny
and crude special effects on display
here, the target audience for this campaign
for Red Tail Ale must be youngish
males. We see scenes in which women
gab on and on about various “feminine”
subjects (relationships, make-up) till the
heads of poor guys who find themselves
caught up in this female company literally
explode, splattering gore all over
the place. (It’s the discrepancy between
the very realistically played and observed
live action scenes and the outrageousness
of the exploding heads that
makes these spots so funny.) Tagline:
“Men are brewed differently. So is Red
Tail Ale.”
