Rexona “Soft Toys” (01:00) #
In the “Soft Toys” commercials, people
are transmuted into puppet-like figures
faced with everyday situations in which
body odour is seemingly inevitable:
among crowds at an underground station, in the only patch of shade on a busy
square, wearing a nun’s habit in extreme
heat, or in a kitchen redolent with greasy
fumes. Then, however, a puppet woman
appears and buys the Rexona soap in a
supermarket. Once she is in the shower,
the puppet mask and clothes are to be
seen hanging on a peg in the cloakroom.
Claim: “Rexona. Gives you back your
freshness.”
