“Popcorn” + “Pizzarias” [00:30]# Two commercial for Roysters, a U.S. company that produces snacks, that bear the unmistakable signature of Joe Sedelmaier. “Popcorn” shows Roysters research department feverishly seeking ways of improving their “Big Pan” popcorn. The things they come up with the include “safety popcorn,” which fills up a car in case of an imminent crash and “musical popcorn,” which fills up a car in case of an imminent crash and “musical popcorn” that pops to the strains of “The Blue Danube.” None of these novelties, however, can hold a candle to the original caramel drenched product. In “Pizzerias,” a host of typical Sedelmaier characters in white coats present their “Pizzerias,” a snack that looks like a tiny pizza slice, th their boss, recommending it with such choice remarks as, “You don’t have to tip the delivery guy because there is no delivery guy: or “They don’t get cold because they are already cold.” Pay-off: “Roysters.
