Skoda “Factory Tour” [01:00] + “Motorshow” [00:40]
How hard it is to shake off an old image! An important guest is being shown through a car factory. He is impressed by the high production standards and extensive quality checks. And when he is presented with the final product he marvels at the car, apparently unaware that he is looking at a Skoda. And when he says: “I heard you make those little Skoda cars here as well!” his guide looks on unbelievingly. In the second spot, we see workers preparing a car show. They are in the process of lowering a Skoda Fabia onto a platform in front of a Skoda sign. All of a sudden an executive from the show tells them to stop right away. After all, a fine car like this does not belong on a Skoda platform. After the unknowing executive leaves, the workers – after looking at each other dumbfounded -, simply continue to lower the new Skoda into its rightful place.
