We created this poster for Big Cat Rescue in order to expose how many exotic circus cats (such as lions and tigers) are being abused and even killed when they get too old and can no longer perform. The elegant jewelry box with the shiny, unexpected bullet inside was meant to spotlight the shocking truth: That there is no retirement for many big cats. We hoped to entice people to visit BigCatRescue.org and further educate them on what can happen to these older cats once they lose their value in the eyes of some exploitive, unscrupulous circuses.
