Sprint PCS “What about the Monkey?” (00:30)# These hilarious spots show what might happen if the telephone connection is so abysmal it causes acoustic misunderstandings. One man returns to his wife and home with a killer whale (Shamoo), whereas she only asked for shampoo. A woman asks her husband to get “a movie, something old” on DVD and is presented with a sick animal (“a monkey with a cold”). The third spot relates the tale of a farmer’s order going haywire when he receives 200 dogs (ever noticed the stunning acoustic similarity between “oxen” and “dachshund”?) Of course none of this would have happened if these people had switched to Sprint PCS – the acoustically clear alternative to your average mobile provider – early enough!
