Scoring well in customers’ estimation by
laying on a personalized services is suddenly very big again. In an action-packed
commercial, Statoil shows us all the luxuries one has to dispense with at self-service gas stations. Fear is written in the
face of the customer at the pump as first
the attendant, then the entire shop building and its roof disappear up into the sky
with a thunderous noise. As if that were
not enough, the whole residential area
around the station suddenly collapses.
Yet this dearth of service is not to be
found at Statoil, and thus it is that everything returns to earth – and the exact
place where it had stood before – with a
bang.
