Let’s be honest: Everyone who has got a pet knows that going to the
vet can be both expensive and very exhausting. Purina therefore came
up with an awesome idea. As dogs like to pee on billboards, they made
one especially for this purpose. It has a built-in technology to analyze
the dog’s urine and to warn owners if there are some issues with
their pet’s health. Additionally, these billboards uses pheromones to
encourage the mutt to pee on them, which means that it gets tested
for disease as it lifts its leg. Two years went into the development of
this kickass technology.

Darre van Dijk: “A small case but funny to watch. The fact that dog owners
often skip the veterinary check-up prompted Purina to come up with a
billboard dogs can piss on. They can use the urine to check the dog’s
health on the spot, giving them an instant analysis – with, of course,
a special diet dog food to help treat the condition or a set of results to
take along to the next appointment at the vet’s. It’s a bit of a stunt but
the idea behind it is smart. ”
