This commercial is set at a point around
the turn of the last century. A girl at
school is reading out an essay on the
subject of the “future.” This also covers
the mobile phone technology of today,
prompting laughs of incomprehension
and disbelief from her fellow students.
The girl is told to report to the principal,
and then to the physician, and finally has
to recount her visions to a psychiatrist.
On hearing of her daughter’s apparent
madness, the mother of the girl bursts
into tears, while the girl merrily continues
to tell her story on the way home from
school. Obviously, the age of mobile
phone technology such as that of Telenor
had not yet dawned.
