The Army: “Debris” [00:75]# These spots are directed at UK servicemen and the often reckless way in which they drive on account of traumatic experiences they have had in the past. One of the motorcyclists seen here has a horrific accident, and ambulance, fire brigade, and police are already waiting for him as he smashes into the crash barrier. The other motorcyclist’s accident is one felt by a family within the very confines of their own home. The aim is to show that speeding is nothing but an accident waiting to happen, and one that will do serious harm to other people. Super: “British troops are twice as likely to die on the road as civvies. Drive carefully. You’re tough, but you’re not invincible.”
