A fisherman has to leave his family for days on end in order to earn enough money for them to just about get by. Returning one day from his latest trip out on the trawler, he comes home to find the house bare, with just an envelope left sitting for him on the mantelpiece. He runs out in search of the family only to find his wife happily awaiting him in their new home. Having won big in the lottery, she can now ensure they live together in happiness – and are no longer in desperate need of money.
