The Ticket Shoe

Jung von Matt, Berlin

[5.18.002]

More Info

A shoe that is not only good for walking but also serves as a ticket for public transport in Berlin. There are few things cooler than that, Adidas!

Rafael Segri & Kiko Mattoso: “Turning something that is not seen as cool into something really cool is difficult, and they really did it here. The Adidas shoes based on the local rapid transit system in Berlin was a nice way to make it happen. The shoe’s details are great, like the retro camouflage-style pattern that is the same as that on Berlin’s subway train seats, and the shoe’s tongue is a BVG ticket valid for a full year.
We wish we had one!”
