The new generation of TV sets take up very little space in our living rooms, it being possible to hang these extra-flat screens up on the wall like a picture. Yet there is no upside without a downside. This new technology from Thomson can make a straightforward dressing-room look pretty overwhelming. With their cheeks pressed up against the screen, the footballers try to creep past their colleague and the reporter. As if things on the pitch were not already cramped enough when seen on this telly – and now even the referee finds it hard to pull out the red card.
