A little boy is sitting outside a chocolate
store, apparently deep in thought. In the
background, we see all manner of moments being replayed in slow motion;
couples kissing, geese swimming on a
pond, boys performing stunts on their
bikes. Suddenly, the boy has that decisive
flash of inspiration and writes it down.
And, all at once, all of the background
actions resume once again. He goes into
the store and gives the lady behind the
counter a piece of paper. “Personalize
your gift in store” is the endline chosen
by Thorntons to promote its chain of
stores.
