Travelers “Birdie” + “Boxer” (01:00) each #
In these two spots for its “Insurance Insynch”
product, the Travelers insurance
group shows just how fast someone’s risk
exposure can change. The “air-headed”
inventor in the first commercial, meanwhile,
dares, in the presence of a few village
inhabitants, to jump from the bridge
into the river. Yet the joy at the fact that
he is able to fly soon fades as one of the
onlookers remarks: “But he can’t swim.”
In the second, a boxing champion is
preparing for the big fight. Following
intense training, he finally faces his opponent
in the ring. Yet before the fight can
begin, he is knocked out by a ceilinghung
mike that hits him on the head.
