More Info
A stop-motion commercial for United Airlines
which uses more than 1,440 frames
to breathe life into marionettes. It tells
the story of a little boy whose father
says goodbye to his still slumbering son
to make his way to the airport. In the
boy’s dream, however, his father is flying
on the back of a huge bird to dine with
gallant knights. Victory over a fire-spitting
dragon enables dad to return to reality
as a feted hero – complete with a
highly appropriate gift: a toy dragon.
Tagline: “It’s time to fly.”
