L´tur “White Trash” [00:25]# The mother of a typical German working class family from the Ruhr area is interviewed in their living room. Responding to questions from the off, she tells us how her family can get by with the little money they have. Their son brings home a little money, she is always out to find specials sales and they can’t afford any extras, such as going to the movies, of course. Yet, when the interviewers wants to know what the family will be doing the next day, she tells him they will be going on vacation – to the incredibly cheap fares offered by the L’tur travel agency.
