Aviko Potatoes “Potato”, “Flower” [00:30] + “Easter Egg” [00:25]#
A potato fills the screen. The song “Je t’aime” on the soundtrack. Nothing happens. Next, a snatch of some martial-sounding music. Again nothing happens onscreen. Ore music, finally a cancan. Still, the potato just sits there. VO: “A potato will stay just a potato unless it’s Aviko.” Cut to a potato specialty and the Aviko logo. In the second spot, we see a couple of metamorphoses. A flower bud to a flower in full bloom, a caterpillar turning into a butterfly and a potato just sitting there. Finally, the same VO as in the first spot. In the third commercial, a succession of brightly patterned Easter eggs, accompanied by enthusiastically crowing chickens. Then suddenly, a rather deformed looking yet still brightly painted egg – which on second sight turns out to be a potato. Again, VO: “A potato will stay just a potato – unless it’s Aviko.”
