SOS Racism [01:30]# An interesting approach for a public service message against racism. We see a whole range of people from all walks of life spouting typical racist remarks such as, “If there were fewer foreigners here we would’nt have as much unemployment,” “I have nothing against foreigners, but..,” “Never trust a foreigner …,” “With all those foreigners about you hardly dare to step onto the streets,” etc. etc. What provides a new angle to all these cliches, however, is that the word “foreigner” (or “arabe” as in the original French), which one expects to hear in this context, has been replaced with the word “racist.” The spot ends on the super: “If racists were subjected to their own racism there’d be fewer of them around.”
