“Genesis” [00:30]# “Les Shadoks” is the name of a funny cartoon series on French TV which has been on air since 1968 and enjoys a cult following. It tells of the life of a strange creature on a planet somewhere in the universe. The creator of the “Shadoks,” Jacques Rouxel and the characteristics Vok, Claude Pieplu, were commissioned by Belin, and a brand of crackers, to come up with something similar for an ad campaign. This is the first spot in the series and it tells the story of the planet of the “Bigmouths,” reputed to have te finest palates in the universe. The nearby “Belin planet” is inhabited by bird-like creatures, obsessed with being considered delicious enough to be devoured by the “Bigmouths.”
