Set to the sounds of Jackie de Shangnon’s “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” we see images of some idealized American small-town way of life. In a sequence that brings to mind the early scenes in “Blue Velvet,” a beer truck arrives in an idyllic town to deliver Michelob beer, originally brewed in St. Louis, to the local saloon. The spot ends on a super with the pious sentiment, “The secret of happiness is to bring Michelob to others. – The wisdom of St. Louis.”
