More Info

Presbyterian Support Services “Pole-Vaulter”, “Lulu” & “Bragato´s” [00:30]# Filmed in a type of newsreel style, the first half on these commercials is black and white and takes us back to the twenties. We meet an audacious young woman who shocks her contemporaries on the beach by donning one of the first bikini, a husband-and-wife knife-throwing act and a young pole-vaulter. The second halves of these commercials show the very same people today. They may be old and decrepit but they are also hell-bent on repeating their earlier glories to raise money for the Presbyterian Support services. Then a title flashes on the screen: Only you can stop them. By giving generously to this cause.
