“Petrol Sation,” + “Electric Shop” [00:50]# The adventages of having a Visa Electron card are demonstrated in this series of lovingly crafted, slightly surrealist commersial, whose protagonist is an old Spanish pensioner who spends his days sitting at the “Plaza Mayor” of his town and watching the world go by. In the first spot he fishes the Visa card out of the backpocket of the pants of a woman who has just gassed up her car and is now desperately rummmaging for money to pay for the petrol. In the second spot he finds himself dissasfied with the sound emitted by his battered old transistor radio and, now equipped with a Visa Card of his own, he sets off to get himself a big new ghetto blaster. Claim:”Visa Elctron. Makes life easier.
