JeansWest “Chambray Shirt”, “The Dirty Dozen” + “Room With A Few” [00:30]# A black and white series for Jeans-West brand clothing. In the first commercial, we see the face of a young man while the VO raves about the great quality of JeansWest chambray shirts which are unconditionally guaranteed for 12 months. He adds that we might think that “100 is a lot for a shirteven one this good. But as it turns out the price mentioned isforfourshirst as the camera pulls backto revealthat ther are four men – members of a chain gang jogging along a coutnry road. The same principle is applied in the other two commercials. IN “The Dirty Dozen,” it turns out that the 120 dollars are not the price one has to pay for one of Jeans West’s quality T-shirts but, as the title indicates, for 12 of them. And in the third it is three pairs of jeans that cost 120 dollars, which makes 40 dollars for each pair of the jean laing around on the floor while their three owners share a bed for an afternoon nap. Claim: “They don’t make jeanswear any better than this. They jsut charge more.”
