Oslo Sporveier “Traffic Jam” & “Toll” [00:30]#
In “Traffic Jam,” the scene is cars as far as the eye can see, everybody hooting and shouting and swearing. Music under: “Oh, give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above – don’t fence me in.” Main in middle car suddenly strips off his shirt, climbs out of the window with the shirt tied to a long pole, waving it like a white flag as he gets on top of the car. Super: “The wisest surrender first. Oslo Tram Line.”
“Toll” features Cajun music as a vintage car drives up to a toll plaza and stops, the lady driver rummaging in her purse to find coins. Finally she does so, throws them at the automat, only to miss and have them fall to the ground. Her husband beside her sighs, grabs the purse from her, takes all the coins left and throws them at the machine – at that moment another car drives into them from behind. The man despairs, the lady driver tries to keep calm. Super: “If you don’t go with us, you are throwing money out the window. Oslo Sporveier.
