Banco [00:20]# Banco, the new scratch -and- win lottery is introduced by a huge number of humorous vignettes. Our example from this series shows a washroom attendant woefully telling her colleague at the coat check that a customer has left her 5000 Francs, meaning that he has left her the Banco ticket with which she’s just discovered she has won 5000 Francs. When the coat check girl asks her why she is crying then, she responds with the French equivalent to “Lucky at cards, unlucky in love.”
