Kroger Supermarkets “Didja” & “Backseat” [00:30]# Two short, funny spots for Kroger supermarkets. While his wife has been shopping at Kroger’s, a man has just been sitting around his car. When she’s finished and returns to the car loaded with shopping bags, he practically interrogates her about what she has bought: “Didja get this?”, “Didja get that?”, Didja have enough money?”, “Didja get any back?” etc. A terse “yep” is the reply to all of these questions. Probably unaccustomed to getting so many positive answers from his wife, the husband pushes his luck by then asking “Wouldja check the oil?” This, however, earns him only an icy stare.
In the second spot, a fat kid strapped into the children’s seat at the back of the car is stuffing his face indiscriminately with food he takes from the shopping bags parked around him. “We’ve enough food to feed an entire army,” the father complains from the off. “I know,” the mother whines, “but it always seems to disappear.” Claim” Kroger supermarkets. Low prices on the everyday. Every day.
