Fiat Tipo “Opera” [01:00] & “Taxi” [00:30]# Two spots for the Fiat Tipo done in the style of an Italian Baroque Opera. All dialogue is sung in Italian with English subtitles. The characters are dashing tenor bemoaning the absence of his beloved, the rather portly heroine and a trio of noblemen. The heroine races onstage in her Fiat Tipo, her sun like headdress emerging from the car’s sunroof, and starts to discuss the advantages of her new car. Then they all jump into the car and task off, leaving behind three nobile beauties. In the second spot, the five characters are somewhere in London and lost. Resolutely the heroine asks for a city Map, which is promptly handed to her by the trio of noblemen sitting in the back. A London cab driver looks on incredulously. Claim: You get more in a Tipo.
