Environmental issues are today more relevant and topical than almost ever before. In line with that insight, many companies are making renewed efforts to fight pollution and help create a healthier environment, yet such efforts can also be misguided. Many electrified drivers are, for example, unaware that their energy isn’t in fact green but grey. i.e. generated from fossil fuels. Ultimately, therefore, what is the point in driving an electric car when it is no better for the environment than the normal gas-powered vehicle? Volts by Volvo is therefore offering green energy contracts for Belgian households to power their electric cars.
