A race in which the competitors are real live bugs? To promote the VW Beetle. DDB Stockholm came up with something very special:
over a period of five days, beetles boasting such fanciful names as Shitty Bill and Boris Turbo were sent off to race against other
and odds quoted for those wanting to have a flutter on the winner. A chronology of the campaign, together with profiles of the
beetles, highlights of the run, and the race results, can be found on the website.
