Tough times for the guy in this spot. His days are so monotonous that we feel as if we’re in a remake of “Groundhog Day”. Just at the very end, however, he gets a little breather: he spots a new VW Beetle Convertible from his office window … The second commercial has us wondering why this young lady is so damn happy. And why are all these people so awfully nice to one another? We find out in the second half, where events are traced back to the “key moment” which set off this chain reaction of friendliness. “VW Beetle Convertible. One good thing leads to another”.
