VW Lane Assist: “Lines” [00:25]# Shades of David Lynch are evident in these spots for the Lane Assist feature from VW, the settings in which we see drivers overcome by a microsleep episode being both weird and disturbing. One guy ends up in a foggy forest full of scented trees where he is surprised by a bear wielding a pneumatic drill. A woman, meanwhile, is seen standing, a little bewildered, in a room, on the floor of which are streams of paper coming out of an organ being played by a fox. Super: “Vibrates when you drift off. The new Lane Assist from Volkswagen.”
